What we do

Native Title
MPS Law provides specialist legal advice and representation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in all matters relating to native title. We work closely with Traditional Owners, native title corporations, and Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs) to help secure, protect, and manage native title rights and interests—particularly in the face of resource development, infrastructure projects, and complex negotiations.

Commercial
MPS Law provides commercial and contract law services tailored to the needs of Aboriginal organisations and Indigenous-led businesses across Australia. We specialise in providing culturally informed, strategic legal support for complex transactions, governance, and economic development—particularly in areas involving land use, partnerships, and renewable energy.

Dispute Resolution
Disputes within and between Aboriginal organisations, Traditional Owner groups, or stakeholders to a native title agreement can be complex and sensitive. MPS Law provides trusted, independent dispute resolution services—including legal support, facilitation, and mediation—to help resolve matters in a fair, culturally appropriate, and legally sound manner.

Pro Bono
MPS Law is committed to delivering justice and equity by providing pro bono legal services for First Nations in Australia. As a signatory to the National Pro Bono Target, we dedicate a portion of our time and resources each year to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, organisations, and communities in matters aligned with our expertise and public interest goals.
